Well this week is almost over, and I am very happy. Even though I will not be going home or anything for Easter, I am still happy. My test Monday went alright I think, I do not know what I got yet though. Last night I stayed up until three writing this stupid paper for fragments, I am just glad to be done with it, I am turning it in tomorrow. Now I just have to finish off the week and hopefully have a fun weekend. Then, next week, the main things I have is biology and accounting exam, and accounting assignment for Thursday. Better than a bunch of papers like this week was, so it should not be too bad.
It is supposed to snow tonight/tomorrow...snow in spring. The weather is crazy, but I like it. It was nice this last weekend and the beginning of this week and then TODAY it was hella windy, like twister status. The weather should be interesting, and I'm looking forward to doing something fun this weekend.
TODAY, BET premiered the new single from Nicki Minaj, Massive Attack. It is the first one off her own album, and personally I like it. I don't think it is as good as some of her verses on other tracks, but the beat goes hard, and the video...the video is real nice. Amber Rose has a cameo too, and I like the dancing in the jungle and the guy with the crazy shoulders...I don't want to give too much away so watch the video after the jump!
We got tom toms over here bigger than a monster!

Crunch Time - Five Weeks Left
It has been quite some time since my last post, but that is alright because I have been busy. The break was nice, but it is over now and it is time to get back on my grind. This week is extremely busy. Today I had my religions exam, it went pretty well, I hope I did alright. It did not seem as hard as I was expecting it to be, it may be because I studied more for this one than the first one, or maybe I just completely bombed it all the while thinking I did well; hopefully it is the former and not the latter. Tomorrow an accounting assignment is due, Wednesday an extremely stupid biology lab paper is due (which I just finished so thats good, it is literally just a bunch of bs, but oh well, he is a terrible teacher, there were like no guidelines for it so he cannot complain), and Thursday a 6-8 page paper for fragments is due. So far I am all caught up with stuff, just have to write that stupid fragments paper; I cannot wait to be done with that class, I seriously despise it and dread it every Tuesday and Thursday.
There are only five weeks left in this spring semester, including this week, and then its the week of finals and my summer vacation starts. I cannot wait! I am going to find a job, my coach is helping me with my resume and cover letter for valet positions, and maybe some at some restaurants also. I want to work a lot so I can save up some money, but I also want to have fun. I want to go and travel by myself, maybe go on my solo Boston adventure that did not happen over spring break. Who knows, it will be a nice long 3+ months though.
This weekend I have to make my schedule because next Tuesday, the sixth of April, is my time to register for classes. I am very happy I took the AP Calculus exam and got the four units for it because I get to sign up for classes for next semester a whole day earlier than a lot of other freshmen, so thats good. This weekend I also get my time to apply for housing for next year, hopefully Mark or I will get lucky and get an early time so we can get in either McDonald or Raymond and be able to room with Kendale, otherwise we will have to live in Gabaldon, the suite style dorms, and I would feel bad leaving Kendale hanging, but yeah. I am supposed to try and fly home the weekend of the 18th also for my cousin Angela's wedding in Gig Harbor. I want to go and do not want to miss it but I guess it depends on the flights, as of right now I would be alright missing class the Monday after that Sunday the wedding is on, so hopefully nothing changes. Everything is going on right now, but I am not too stressed, just staying focused, even though the motivation for some stuff is lacking I am still good. I have been working out some too, not too much, I went two times last week, and hope to go at least twice this week also. It is hard to find time to go, but I guess something is better than nothing. I have to get in shape for summer! Get my tan on and everything, I am excited.
Oh, last weekend was so boring. I stayed up until 4am with Joy and Antoinette doing nothing really, eating skittles and drinking rockstars but thats about it. We had step practice at 12 the next day too, but surprisingly I had no trouble getting up. It was so boring though! We could not even find a party to go to or anything. Hopefully next weekend is better, there are only a few more weekends left here in Flagstaff, I hope they will all be fun and exciting. Maybe even as fun as the weekend before spring break, but I am not sure, that weekend will be hard to beat.
They say you eat a lot more or maybe just more unhealthy in college, but I have noticed I eat a lot less when I am at school than when I am at home. I guess it is a good thing, but not all the time. Yesterday I barely ate anything, maybe it is the stress suppressing my appetite, but I don't know because I don't really feel stressed, but I don't know. I am still drinking coffee though, that is for sure.
Our step performance is coming up on the eighth, it should be pretty exciting. Hopefully someone video tapes it so y'all can see and everything.
This semester, well actually, this year has flown by so fast it is crazy. When I first moved in here in August, May seemed so far away, and now it is just around the corner, five weeks away! I am both happy and sad, but mostly happy. I am already almost done with my first year of college. Next year I will be a second year student, a sophomore, and there will be new freshmen here, BSU will be different, classes will be different (like they are every semester, but yeah), friends will be different, and it is inevitable I will grow further apart from friends back home, but thats alright. I have family, and new friends, and I know my real friends will still be there like KP and Ethan and such.

Back
Spring Break was pretty fun, but now I am back at school in good 'ol Flagstaff. It is actually pretty nice today, most of the snow is gone, just big piles where they shoveled it in the shade and stuff. I could even go to the hotspot in just a t-shirt, it almost felt like summer, almost.

I actually did most of the stuff I wanted to do, which wasn't much, but it was still fun. I mean it was only a week, and it went by fast. It was nice to get away for a while, but it is nice to get back, I live living on my own; this summer will be interesting to say the least. Hopefully I will be able to find a job so I can just work work work all the time and save up.
I flew into Phoenix and then my friend picked me up and I stayed at her and her mom's apartment. Later that night she had to take her mother to the hospital though so I was basically there by my self most of the time. My friend, Olivia, didn't even sleep, she came back around six or seven this morning to take her contacts out and get stuff and then went back to the hospital. Hopefully she will be okay. So I got a ride with Megan and her family from Olivia's apartment, and now I'm here, back in Flagstaff.
It feels nice being back, I was ready to come back. There is just six more weeks of classes and then finals week and then I will be done with my first year of college, crazy, it has gone by so fast...seriously.

Ready
I am ready for Friday to be here now. I did not think I would be this excited to go home to Washington for spring break, but I am. If I were going to school in a bigger city, I bet I would not be that excited to go back to Washington, but Flagstaff is pretty small. It would be better if I had a car, but I am getting to know more people with vehicles so it is actually getting better. There is just not a whole lot to do like there is in a bigger city, there is still fun stuff to do though. The Monday after spring break I am going bowling with BSU, so that should be fun, I have not been to the bowling alley here yet. Then, in April, we are all going to the new Tyler Perry movie, I do not know which one it is, but that should be fun as well. The weeks have gone by fast, and the day after tomorrow I will be heading back to the great pacific northwest. Then, when I come back, there is only six weeks left, and then finals, and thats it! I am excited for the summer, especially since it starts in May.
I had the best idea when I was in the shower today. When my sister and I are in Portland, hopefully we can stay the night at my cousin's house so that we can hang out in Portland for a bit on Saturday before we drive back up to Tacoma. While we are in Oregon I am going to buy DJ Hero, it is perfect since there is no tax, I am so excited now; I will be able to save a little bit of money. Also, I got a ride back up to Flagstaff from Phoenix on Sunday morning so I get to stay in Tacoma until Sunday, well Saturday basically. Now I will have a little bit more time to do more stuff, whatever it is I am going to do. So far I have that Saturday planned, well the first part of the day at least, I don't know what I am going to do that night. Sunday I think I will visit my grandparents and do whatever else. Monday, KP and I are going to see The Crazies, unless Maddie and John come back later in the week, then maybe we can wait for them, or maybe not. The rest of my break I don't know what I am going to do yet, well I have an idea, just not the specifics. I need to go up to Seattle sometime too, maybe stay the night up there with friends and get my shirt that Red and Vanna made, I am excited to wear it here in Flagstaff. I am pretty excited to just to be able to sleep in my own room and stuff though, a nice break from having a roommate for a while should be cool. I am excited for next year though now that I have someone to room with. We are going to try and get into one of the apartment style halls, and those have three people in each apartment so we would just have to have a random one for the third, but that is not too bad.
My midterm grades are posted, I am satisfied; three As and three Bs. Not as good as last semester, but still good, and I have time to get some of my grades up.
The past couple nights I have been watching gymnastics and tumbling for hours and hours, I really miss it. I want to get back into it. I think next semester I will join the gymnastics club, I wanted to last semester, but I did not really know anyone with a car, and the gym is off-campus a little ways so it would not be fun to walk. That would be fun though, to at least do some tumbling.
I do not need to go to my econ class today so now I do not have anything to to until my lab at 4:10; I am bored. I do not really feel like going back to my room. I guess I will work on some homework and get ahead so I do not have to do everything Sunday when I get back to Flag.
I still cannot get over how fun last weekend was. The best way to celebrate the weekend before the week before spring break. It was so much fun! I hope there will be more weekends like it after spring break, I have a feeling there will be ;) especially since I got a lot of numbers and more people have my number now as well. I am really enjoying the step team too, it is fun and also something to do and keep me busy.

Weekend before Spring Break '10
This weekend was by far the best weekend I have had in a long time. It was so much fun, I really enjoyed myself. Friday I went out to the club with some people, and that ended with some girls fighting and then some dude punching some girl in the face and then two guys fighting. There was a braid on the ground, along with some random articles of clothing when everyone cleared out of there, it was pretty funny though. It was messed up what they were fighting about but it was a cool night. Then, Saturday it started me being fifty minutes late to step practice, haha opps. After that it was pretty boring and it felt like a waste of a day as I was sitting with some people trying to find something to do that evening. Luckily, we found a party to go to so we all met up and walked over to the lobby of this other dorm. There were a whole bunch of people and it was all chaotic trying to figure out rides, I did not know any of the other people, but they seemed cool. The group I was with went in two sections, a bunch in this one car, and then me and three other people in this other car. This girl who lives on the second floor of my hall drove us there and back, so it was cool. It was at this house not too far away, there was a lot of people but it was so much fun! I met another guy named Trevor, he had a tattoo of "Trevor" on his leg he showed me, it was funny. I met a lot of other people too, this random girl we met in the kitchen she pulled these things out of her purse, so ghetto, but we had some still, it was funny. We just had fun, and thats all I am going to say about that. Our ride was leaving at one so we left then, we didn't get there until about 10:30, so we only stayed for about two and a half hours, but it seemed way longer than that, it was weird. Of course right at one am it started snowing like crazy, and we all left our jackets in this girls dorm on campus cause we didn't want to have to carry them around and stuff, stupid idea. It was funny though, I was slipping and sliding all up and down the street running to the car, well we were trying to find where she parked for a few minutes. It is like this little car and we had five people in the back seat and then driver and passenger, it was nice and warm with all those people. I chilled for a little while at these people's dorm and then I walked back to my room and fell right asleep. It was the most fun I have had up here in Flagstaff in a very long time, and now that I have went out with them this weekend, we can have more fun after Spring Break and before you know it, the semester will be over!
Speaking of Spring Break, I am heading back up to WA on Friday, I am very excited. I got a ride down to Phoenix, and now I just hope the flight I am shooting for does not fill up, I have a back up plan in case that happens, but hopefully I will be able to get on the flight I am planning for, it will make things a whole lot easier. I am excited to see my family and friends and stuff, so it should be fun. I also plan to buy DJ Hero while I am home too and play that a lot. I cannot wait, this week just needs to go by fast like the last three-four weeks have. I do not have any tests or anything so thats good, I had my two big exams last week. I did good on my accounting one, like I mentioned in my last post I think, so I am just hoping I did well on my biology exam as well.
This is what I want to do while I am home:

I may have to add some stuff later in case I forgot some things, but these are the things I can think of off the top of my head, so I have a busy week. It is not even a full week, but I am not going to think of that, I am just going to enjoy myself and appreciate even being able to go home. I am looking forward to it all.
I just like this song.

One Week
There is only about one week left and then I'll be on my way back up to the pacific northwest, how exciting! It feels like I haven't been there in forever, but I know once I walk in our house it will feel like I never left; it is not necessarily a bad thing, but not really a good thing either. It will be nice though, to see the family, Stella, and of course the friends there, even though a lot of them will still be in school. I will still be visiting them though, I don't care if they have homework, or exams or whatever, it is alright, I know how you feel.
Anyways, my days are pretty long. Today I had my biology test, I think I did alright, I could have studied more, but I just could not get myself to study any longer than I did last night. After that I went to the hotspot, which is the all-you-can-eat dining area, and got some breakfast/lunch. Then to Starbucks to get some coffee and read for accounting. Speaking of accounting, I'm doing really well in that class. We got our test that we took on Tuesday back today and he posted the grades, I got a 96%, I was extremely happy. The other people I was sitting around were talking about their grades and they didn't do as well I guess, but I'm glad they didn't ask me what I got, well they did but then I started talking and I don't remember what I said, but I didn't tell them my score. I have always found that awkward, when people ask your score and you know you got better than them. It is not so bad when its just a one-on-one conversation with one person, but when it is to a bunch of people in a classroom setting it is weird. Anyways, after I was in Starbucks for a couple hours I went to fragments and ruins, and then to accounting, and then a meeting for our group project, and then to my room to change, and then to the field house/rec center for step practice, and then to pizza hut for dinner, and then back to my room to put our project together and submit it online. And then and then and then and then, haha, but it was seriously like that, non-stop! I'm glad I only have my one class tomorrow and then a nice long break until step practice at five, then the weekend begins!
Hopefully I can find something to get into this weekend. Some people were talking about partying or going out this weekend, maybe I can join them. I do not want to be one of those people and invite myself, but you know. If I can't find anything to do I'll probably just end up going to Starbucks a lot and maybe the store or something. I want to see The Crazies! I really really want to see it, really bad.
I'm just going to relax tonight, I do not really have anything I need to do for tomorrow, and not much homework this weekend, so that is good.
