It has been quite some time since my last post, but that is alright because I have been busy. The break was nice, but it is over now and it is time to get back on my grind. This week is extremely busy. Today I had my religions exam, it went pretty well, I hope I did alright. It did not seem as hard as I was expecting it to be, it may be because I studied more for this one than the first one, or maybe I just completely bombed it all the while thinking I did well; hopefully it is the former and not the latter. Tomorrow an accounting assignment is due, Wednesday an extremely stupid biology lab paper is due (which I just finished so thats good, it is literally just a bunch of bs, but oh well, he is a terrible teacher, there were like no guidelines for it so he cannot complain), and Thursday a 6-8 page paper for fragments is due. So far I am all caught up with stuff, just have to write that stupid fragments paper; I cannot wait to be done with that class, I seriously despise it and dread it every Tuesday and Thursday.
There are only five weeks left in this spring semester, including this week, and then its the week of finals and my summer vacation starts. I cannot wait! I am going to find a job, my coach is helping me with my resume and cover letter for valet positions, and maybe some at some restaurants also. I want to work a lot so I can save up some money, but I also want to have fun. I want to go and travel by myself, maybe go on my solo Boston adventure that did not happen over spring break. Who knows, it will be a nice long 3+ months though.
This weekend I have to make my schedule because next Tuesday, the sixth of April, is my time to register for classes. I am very happy I took the AP Calculus exam and got the four units for it because I get to sign up for classes for next semester a whole day earlier than a lot of other freshmen, so thats good. This weekend I also get my time to apply for housing for next year, hopefully Mark or I will get lucky and get an early time so we can get in either McDonald or Raymond and be able to room with Kendale, otherwise we will have to live in Gabaldon, the suite style dorms, and I would feel bad leaving Kendale hanging, but yeah. I am supposed to try and fly home the weekend of the 18th also for my cousin Angela's wedding in Gig Harbor. I want to go and do not want to miss it but I guess it depends on the flights, as of right now I would be alright missing class the Monday after that Sunday the wedding is on, so hopefully nothing changes. Everything is going on right now, but I am not too stressed, just staying focused, even though the motivation for some stuff is lacking I am still good. I have been working out some too, not too much, I went two times last week, and hope to go at least twice this week also. It is hard to find time to go, but I guess something is better than nothing. I have to get in shape for summer! Get my tan on and everything, I am excited.
Oh, last weekend was so boring. I stayed up until 4am with Joy and Antoinette doing nothing really, eating skittles and drinking rockstars but thats about it. We had step practice at 12 the next day too, but surprisingly I had no trouble getting up. It was so boring though! We could not even find a party to go to or anything. Hopefully next weekend is better, there are only a few more weekends left here in Flagstaff, I hope they will all be fun and exciting. Maybe even as fun as the weekend before spring break, but I am not sure, that weekend will be hard to beat.
They say you eat a lot more or maybe just more unhealthy in college, but I have noticed I eat a lot less when I am at school than when I am at home. I guess it is a good thing, but not all the time. Yesterday I barely ate anything, maybe it is the stress suppressing my appetite, but I don't know because I don't really feel stressed, but I don't know. I am still drinking coffee though, that is for sure.
Our step performance is coming up on the eighth, it should be pretty exciting. Hopefully someone video tapes it so y'all can see and everything.
This semester, well actually, this year has flown by so fast it is crazy. When I first moved in here in August, May seemed so far away, and now it is just around the corner, five weeks away! I am both happy and sad, but mostly happy. I am already almost done with my first year of college. Next year I will be a second year student, a sophomore, and there will be new freshmen here, BSU will be different, classes will be different (like they are every semester, but yeah), friends will be different, and it is inevitable I will grow further apart from friends back home, but thats alright. I have family, and new friends, and I know my real friends will still be there like KP and Ethan and such.
