This is what they call reading week, the week before finals. It has been pretty chill, not much to do but go to class and study for the exams next week. I have a project due today for fragments, and then a group project my group and I are working on for that class, but other than that all I have left are the exams. That group project is not even a group project really, but I am not going to get into that right now. I have been studying a little bit here and there, but nothing too intense, I'm not too worried about finals. Economics should be good since I have a high grade already and we can use our book of notes on the test. Religions should be alright, but I have to actually study for that one, we have a smaller group meeting thing tomorrow so that should help. Biology should be okay too, I made like seventy-something flashcards I have been studying with, and I know more than I thought I did so I'm pretty happy about that. Finally, accounting will be good because we have a take-home portion of it, so I can do well on that part, and then the in-class section should not be too bad hopefully, he rounds everything in the end too so thats good. Fragments I have no final thank goodness, just these dumbass projects that are a waste of my life. Oh, my lab is over too and we didn't have any final or anything, I had a B at midterms and I got it up to an A now so I am very excited about that. There are only three As in the class, people surprise me sometimes with how they do not take school very seriously, but thats besides the point.
Last week BSU had a bbq instead of going to Dave and Buster's because, well I don't know why exactly but its whatever. It was some good food though, unlike the black history month "bbq" by sodexo, it was a thousand times better because the advisor, Kevin, cooked and stuff. No more BSU until next semester now, and same with the step team. It is weird that this semester, this year is practically over.
This year went by so fast. Everyone always says to enjoy your college years or whatever because they go by so fast and stuff, and I never thought that was true, but now I know, I am already a quarter of the way done! With my time at NAU at least, I don't know what I'm doing after I graduate, if I am going to do more school or something, I don't know yet. I'm excited for next semester though, it should be a lot better than this semester, mainly because no fragments. I'm taking English, Accounting (the hardest class ever in the business school they say), Economics (either micro or macro, I can't remember which one it is, I have to take both eventually though anyways), Race & Ethnic Relations, and Human Sexuality (a one-unit class that is only the first five weeks, taught by my BIO100 professor I have now so it should be cool). It is only 14 units, as opposed to 16 units I had last semester and this semester. I guess its okay though, as long as I have 60 units by the end of next year. Also, I will be living with my friend in Aspen, a 24-hour quiet hall. Its better than having a random roommate though, even if we did have to choose the 24-hour quiet option (that was the only place left to live anyways), I talked to some people that live there now and they said its not bad. It is one of the newest buildings on campus so its really modern and just new! All the rooms have a ceiling fan, and its suites so our room and the room next with two suite mates (we don't know who they are going to be) share a bathroom, and everything will just be newer rather than older. Also, we don't get a key or anything to our room, we swipe our ID to get in, like a hotel! It is so cool, thats what I am most excited about. Just the fact that I will be a second year student and there will be new freshmen below me is also a reason why next semester/year will be better. I am however, going to miss the people that are not returning to NAU in August. I just started hanging out with this group of people pretty often, and a few of them are not coming back, but its alright I guess, most of them are, but it is still sad.
This weekend I need to pack. I have yet to pack anything, and Darwin is coming on Monday to take two (2) boxes of my stuff back up to the great Pacific Northwest. I am more stressed about that then finals, which is a good thing, I think. I don't think I have that much stuff, but I bet once I start packing I will realize I have more than I came down here with, but whatever. I need to figure out what I can pack and send with him, and what I need, and more importantly, will be able to fit in my two suitcases for when I leave next Friday. It is almost summer time!!! For me at least, it is less than a week away! Next Saturday I am going to Stadium's prom with Jamie. It will be interesting, the day after I get back, but I will have plenty of time to rest after that, a couple months. I have a feeling I will enjoy being home for a few weeks, but I think I will be ready to come back to Flagstaff way before it is time to move in in August, but oh well. I just need to find a job, I am still working on that, and just work a lot to stay busy, and of course hang out and party with friends and stuff, well, what friends I have left up there.
It is pretty crazy it is the end of April, almost May, and it is currently snowing here. It is extremely windy also, like 75mph gusts! I'm not sick of it or anything though like people (Darwin) thought I would be, I enjoy it. It will be nice to be back in Tacoma for a while though, and to drive.
Today, I won an auction on eBay for a coca cola edition of Monopoly, I am very excited. I won it for $10.51, and shipping was $10, so like 20 bucks, still better than prices in a store, and I doubt you would even be able to find a coca cola version in a store. I love monopoly; it is my life. I hope I can find friends to play it with when I get back, I guess I can get Shayla to play too. I also bought this book about reality television from half.com, I'm just going crazy buying stuff online, but its all good. I sold back the three (3) books I was told to buy for fragments. We only really used one of them, but I'm not going to get into that right now, it makes me furious. I got $39.50 for the three of them, and I bought all of them online for $30.95 (including shipping) so I made about nine dollars profit, not bad! Anyways, I'm finna go buy some coffee and consume it. It is seriously snowing like hardcore now, humongous flakes, gotta love living in Flagstaff.

Two Weeks
There are only two weeks left until finals. This means there are only two weekends left here in Flagstaff, this is exciting but sad at the same time. It is coming quick and I have a lot to do, both in classes and just getting things together to get ready to leave Arizona. I need to start studying this week for the exams because I need to do well on them. Luckily I don't have too much homework or anything for this week, and since next week is what they call reading week, we aren't supposed to get any new information or assignments and stuff so as long as I spread everything out as far as studying, finishing ridiculous fragments assignments, reading, and packing, I should be okay.
This weekend was crazy. Well basically just Friday night, and then Saturday night I just relaxed and rested, and today was the same just resting and getting a lot of work done. It was so much fun though, I am glad I didn't let anything hold me back and did what I wanted to do without worrying about other people; just being spontaneous, its what college is all about! So yeah, it was crazy fun, and thats all I am going to say about that. :)
Summer is really coming fast! It was nice again today, with a lot of people outside on the grass, playing ball and other various outdoor summer activities, it was exciting. We got a flyer thing about checking out of the residence halls too, so it is seriously almost time!
There is not much time left before I am back in Washington for a couple months, and then back here to Flagstaff in August. I'm looking forward to next semester; I am excited for my classes, living with a friend, and just being in my second year of college. Only two weekends left, and this weekend is the trip to Scottsdale with BSU on Saturday, but I also hope to have some fun again this weekend. Next weekend I will probably be finishing up packing stuff for my father to take back since he will be here next Monday. The next couple weeks will be extremely busy, but I'm not getting stressed, and I will have some fun.

Ready for Summer
It is finally Thursday. This week seemed to go by pretty slow, but I am excited today is Thursday because it is like my Friday almost. I only have my one religions class tomorrow on Friday so it is basically my Friday today. The week has been pretty calm, not too much work. The most work I have been doing is for stupid idiot fragments and ruins, which is so stupid. For religions, accounting, and biology, all I have left are the finals. I have my last lab of my life next Wednesday, and just a couple more weekly quizzes and stuff and the final for economics, so thats not too bad. However, then it comes to fragments, today we have to finish up some stupid poster thing (that was not even on the syllabus...at all) in class today, it is going to be such a stupid poster though, but anyways, and we were supposed to read an entire book for today, I didn't even finish the first chapter, I could care less, and we have a final journal thing to do where we have to write what we learned about every single reading we read throughout the whole semester, and finally a "group" project, which consists of drawing a ruin (note: this is not an art class) writing two 1-2 page papers and one 3-4 page paper, all individually...the only group-ness of the project is three times we meet and discuss shit, it is going to be so stupid, but oh well. Thats all of my school work left for the semester though, then I will be done! How exciting.
Last night the step team left BSU early to go down to the south fields to step. It was interesting. Someone said there was a stage, but when we got there, there was no stage. We had to step on this little strip of cement, so we couldn't really move around into our different formations or anything, but it was still fun I guess to finally do some kind of performance after over two months of practice.
Next weekend the BSU is going down to Scottsdale to Dave and Busters, so that should be fun. They are paying for a select few official members for up to $10 of lunch, and my name better be on that list because I have been to every single meeting, did my community service, and did all the stuff for my committee, and even woke up early on a Saturday morning and walked all the way over to the dome in the snow and ice just to find out it was cancelled and no one told me, but anyways, hopefully they pay for me.
I have to start packing soon too because my father is coming the Monday of finals week. There is a correction, my first final on Monday is religions not biology, and the religions one is not cumulative, it is just on Hinduism and Buddhism so thats good. Packing is going to suck though. Hopefully my boxes are okay still, they are in a big plastic bag at the head of my bed, I haven't looked at them since August so I don't know. The time is coming soon though, I can't believe how fast this year went.
Friday, May seventh is when I will be flying home. Then, the next day, Saturday, I will be going to Jamie's prom with her, that should be interesting. It is going to be weird being with all those kids that are seniors at Stadium now, but I'm just going to go and have fun. Hopefully there will be a fun after party to go to, well one funner than the one I went to after my prom at least. She said we are going to dinner and stuff with 22 people, including us; that is a lot of people. My mother found this summer internship/job thing for me in Seattle too. It sounds really cool, it is with the small business administration or something like that, so right in my field of study. The pay is really good too, and it would be fun to work in Seattle in one of those nice office buildings, and also getting experience in stuff that has to do with my major is a major plus as well.
My coach should be calling soon. She was here in Flagstaff last week, so it was cool to meet with her in person. I asked her to write me a letter of recommendation for this scholarship with the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, which reminds me, I have to work on that too. It is only $1000, but still, its money! Its a merit scholarship for new members, and I got a $1000 scholarship from some group/organization at NAU too, so that will be $2000 if I get the merit one too, cool. I don't know if I want to sign up for coaching next year or not though, it has been really helpful and nice to have her this whole year, but next year we have to pay, and its expensive, so I don't know about that yet.
I am bored now. I read for accounting, got some stupid stuff printed out for our poster thing, so I don't have anything else to do really, except read a stupid book, but I'm not going to because it is stupid. I'm just ready for the weekend already, and also ready for summer. It is starting to feel like summer here. People are starting to sit outside more, shorts and flip flops too. It is almost here, just have to keep going through this school work even though motivation is lacking in a big way.

Buzz Kill
This weekend was such a buzz kill. I'm looking forward to this week though. The past two weeks have been extremely busy with multiple exams and papers, and other various homework and project deadlines that have come up. This week will be nice though, I do not really have anything to do except turn in an assignment tomorrow and a journal for fragments on Thursday, and then just trying to study and prepare for finals. Also, I have to finish up applying for this scholarship, I will be extremely excited once I finish that.
Friday was decent, but not the best. I didn't even stay up that late on Thursday, I don't think, but I woke up, turned off my alarm, and went back to sleep and didn't go to class. Its alright though, it was only one class, and it was religions, and I can get the notes from someone so it should be fine. I did absolutely nothing all day Friday, but in the evening I went out to dinner for a friend's birthday at Salsa Brava, it was good. The restaurant was featured on the Food Network on the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, so it was cool to eat there, and it was very tasty. Later that night I walked in on my roommate...nasty. Then, later I headed out with the usual suspects, a bunch of girls (and a gay guy) from BSU, to this birthday party. She hyped it all up on facebook for the entire week preceding the party, but it was not crackin. It was at this community center place thats like a day care, there was posters of colors and shapes on the wall and stuff, it was pretty funny. After about thirty-five minutes of nothing she up and left her own party! She was heading to the after party she set up that was at this hotel a few miles away. After a while, we got over there and it was alright, but her party(ies) were not the business. We left the after party and went to some house party. There were so many people in there, it was so crazy, it took like five minutes to get through the door and actually into the house. It was funny. Anyways, long story short, we went to three different locations and they were pretty much all wack, but it was fun being out and off campus.
Saturday I didn't do much at all either, step practice was cancelled, as it was cancelled Friday as well. So I just hung out and relaxed. Then, this morning, Sunday morning, I woke up to my roommate and some broad in his bed giggling and whispering, and then before I know it he was on top, humping her. So I peaced out and went to a friend's room downstairs, I was furious. I have yet to be back to my room, except this afternoon when I went to shower and change clothes when I knew he was at church, because I did not want to see him, he made/makes me so mad. I have just been out and about all day. I'm going back up in a little bit though, to sleep...obviously.
This week will be nice though, I just have to go to class and be alert and I'll be good. I don't have any big assignments or exams, those were all the last two weeks, so I'm good. It will give me a chance to work on some more job applications and scholarships, and prepare for finals which are in three weeks. I am extremely excited for this summer, it is going to be the best. I will be working some place, a lot hopefully, and thats about it! I want to take a trip somewhere too, just by myself, so maybe I will do that once I'm done working for the summer before I head back here to Flagstaff and have some money, I'm not sure yet though, its still in the works, but I am definitely going to have fun partying and chilling with some people here while we are all back from college. Just this week, one more week after this week, and then its reading week, and then the week of finals, and I'm out of here. My dad is coming the Monday of finals week though to take two items of my stuff back because he can't come and fly back with my on Friday, when I'm going back, so I have to fit packing in there sometime, but thats tough. I can't start packing too early because I need the stuff, but if I wait too late it will mess me up, so it will be a chore, but oh well. Maybe he will take me to go eat somewhere Monday night ;) hehe, just kidding...kind of. That Monday is going to suck though, its my first final, biology at 7AM! Absolutely disgusting. I'm looking forward to next semester though, I am pretty happy with my schedule, and am going to have a roommate I actually like. However, we will be living in a 24-hour quiet hall which is pretty lame, but I've heard its not too bad there, and it is one of the newest buildings on campus so that is definitely a major plus.
Not much else has been going on lately, because, like I said, the last two weeks have been extremely busy and a lot of work. In most of my classes, I only have finals left to worry about, but of course thats not the case for fragments. I don't want to get into that right now, but that class sucks, and I cannot wait to be done with that class for good. This weekend is going to be sick. I am extremely excited, I don't even know what exactly I am going to do, but I know it will be fun. I'm planning, along with a couple other people, some stuff to get into so I am looking forward to it.
All you niggas is my sons!!!
