Ready for Summer

It is finally Thursday.  This week seemed to go by pretty slow, but I am excited today is Thursday because it is like my Friday almost.  I only have my one religions class tomorrow on Friday so it is basically my Friday today. The week has been pretty calm, not too much work.  The most work I have been doing is for stupid idiot fragments and ruins, which is so stupid.  For religions, accounting, and biology, all I have left are the finals.  I have my last lab of my life next Wednesday, and just a couple more weekly quizzes and stuff and the final for economics, so thats not too bad.  However, then it comes to fragments, today we have to finish up some stupid poster thing (that was not even on the syllabus...at all) in class today, it is going to be such a stupid poster though, but anyways, and we were supposed to read an entire book for today, I didn't even finish the first chapter, I could care less, and we have a final journal thing to do where we have to write what we learned about every single reading we read throughout the whole semester, and finally a "group" project, which consists of drawing a ruin (note:  this is not an art class) writing  two 1-2 page papers and one 3-4 page paper, all individually...the only group-ness of the project is three times we meet and discuss shit, it is going to be so stupid, but oh well.  Thats all of my school work left for the semester though, then I will be done!  How exciting.

Last night the step team left BSU early to go down to the south fields to step.  It was interesting.  Someone said there was a stage, but when we got there, there was no stage.  We had to step on this little strip of cement, so we couldn't really move around into our different formations or anything, but it was still fun I guess to finally do some kind of performance after over two months of practice.

Next weekend the BSU is going down to Scottsdale to Dave and Busters, so that should be fun.  They are paying for a select few official members for up to $10 of lunch, and my name better be on that list because I have been to every single meeting, did my community service, and did all the stuff for my committee, and even woke up early on a Saturday morning and walked all the way over to the dome in the snow and ice just to find out it was cancelled and no one told me, but anyways, hopefully they pay for me.

I have to start packing soon too because my father is coming the Monday of finals week.  There is a correction, my first final on Monday is religions not biology, and the religions one is not cumulative, it is just on Hinduism and Buddhism so thats good.  Packing is going to suck though.  Hopefully my boxes are okay still, they are in a big plastic bag at the head of my bed, I haven't looked at them since August so I don't know.  The time is coming soon though, I can't believe how fast this year went.

Friday, May seventh is when I will be flying home.  Then, the next day, Saturday, I will be going to Jamie's prom with her, that should be interesting.  It is going to be weird being with all those kids that are seniors at Stadium now, but I'm just going to go and have fun.  Hopefully there will be a fun after party to go to, well one funner than the one I went to after my prom at least.  She said we are going to dinner and stuff with 22 people, including us; that is a lot of people.  My mother found this summer internship/job thing for me in Seattle too.  It sounds really cool, it is with the small business administration or something like that, so right in my field of study.  The pay is really good too, and it would be fun to work in Seattle in one of those nice office buildings, and also getting experience in stuff that has to do with my major is a major plus as well.

My coach should be calling soon.  She was here in Flagstaff last week, so it was cool to meet with her in person.  I asked her to write me a letter of recommendation for this scholarship with the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, which reminds me, I have to work on that too.  It is only $1000, but still, its money!  Its a merit scholarship for new members, and I got a $1000 scholarship from some group/organization at NAU too, so that will be $2000 if I get the merit one too, cool.  I don't know if I want to sign up for coaching next year or not though, it has been really helpful and nice to have her this whole year, but next year we have to pay, and its expensive, so I don't know about that yet.

I am bored now.  I read for accounting, got some stupid stuff printed out for our poster thing, so I don't have anything else to do really, except read a stupid book, but I'm not going to because it is stupid.  I'm just ready for the weekend already, and also ready for summer.  It is starting to feel like summer here.  People are starting to sit outside more, shorts and flip flops too.  It is almost here, just have to keep going through this school work even though motivation is lacking in a big way.
