Roommate Frustrations

Living with a roommate has been okay, but lately I've been getting extremely annoyed with it. I don't know what was wrong with me last night but I was tired! I fell asleep on my bed with everything around me at about 9. I woke up thirty minutes later and my roommate was getting ready to go to the gym or whatever, so I cleaned up and got ready to sleep (extremely early) while he was gone. It was like 10:27 when I went to bed, or at least tried to. My RA knocked on my door three minutes later at 10:30 but he was gone by the time I was going to open it. I was almost asleep when I hear the key in the door. My roommate comes in and turns on the light and tv, and he could clearly see I was in bed. The tv was loud too! I was not too happy, he watched his south park and other shows on comedy central, so as I was trying to sleep all I could hear was those hella annoying voices on that stupid show. Long story short, I didn't sleep till about 2am, I was just laying there from 10:27 until then thinking about everything I have to do this weekend getting more and more stressed out; not to mention I was mad about not being able to sleep when I was trying to. I'm just getting sick and tired of living with this roommate, I think it would be different and at least a little better if we were friends...but we're not. I don't mean to complain, but I'm going to. He never cleans the sink, I ALWAYS have to even though he leaves his hair in there when he shaves so its pretty nasty. I even left it there a few days hoping maybe he would clean it...but nope. Not to mention he's just messy, ugh! I guess it could be worse, but this is still pretty frustrating.

When I leave for class in the morning I usually bring everything for the whole day so I don't have to go back to the room. I just sit around in Starbucks (like I am now), or around in the union and do homework on my laptop or read or whatever.

Anyways, I just needed to get that off my chest. Tonight should be fun, after the rest of my classes and meetings, its Apollo Night, I'll let you know how it is later.

I'm writing this as I'm walking to class...I just slipped on ice.
